In order to collect as much feedback from our audience as possible our group held a screening of the first draft of our trailer. Each member of the audience was asked to fill in a hand out, answering questions such as 'what could be improved in the trailer?' and 'what is most effective?' Once the viewing was over we gathered the sheets together and summarised the feedback to which me and Louis recorded reading out on a video shown below.
The above video outlines the negative feedback we received and how we could make our trailer better and more effective. More positive feedback we received included the fact we had a good range of shots from close ups to establishing shots and the clever hand held camera work was also applauded. The audience also said the final shot of the girl being dragged along the floor was effective and looked very professional so this was something we were proud of. Overall we were told our trailer was very professional in some parts but of course some other things did need changing too which we expected hence why we previewed the trailer!
Through the designing and creating process of making both my film poster and magazine cover I was constantly asking people around me and my tutor for their opinions and what they thought I could add and what they thought maybe wasn't so effective. The pictures below show my poster and magazine covers before and after I had taken the feedback I received on board.

Above is my poster before I received audience feedback.

Above is my poster after I took the feedback I received on board. It was suggested to me that I made the poster look more professional and so I added some company logo's and changed a few of the colours around to make the whole feel of the poster more typical of what you would really find on a billboard.
The image above shows my magazine cover before I made some changes after receiving audience feedback.

This is my finished magazine cover for our film. You can see I have made some changes and added some details such as text over the photographs and the graphic which highlights the special horror edition.
